    Hello everyone,

Im an intermediate user of Final Cut Pro and have just began learning After Effects.

Question 1: When I import HD videos (short clips) directly into After Effects, the program tends to freeze up. Is there a more efficient way to get HD video into AE?

Question 2: When working between Final Cut Pro an AE, is there and efficient way to get projects from one to the other or even just small segments/clips without putting it all into a quicktime movie each time?

Regarding question 2: Here’s a search that pulls up several utilities for moving back and forth between FCP and After Effects.
