“switch video with effects” in multiclip not working – what am I missing?
I’m doing some multicam editing and I’d like to have most of the cuts be dissolves.
I assume that is what the manual meant when it talked about “switch video with effects”.
The manual says to use shift + 1-9 (on keypad). When I try that it does nothing.
apple + 1-9 (on keypad) cuts the video just fine.Can anyone help?
I’m using a dual 2.7, fcp5.03 -

I thought this would be just an easy oversight.
I figured several people would have replied to tell me how much of a newbie
I must be to ask such a question.
I am far from a newbie (12 yrs edit experience-linear & non)Has anyone successfully used multiclip with transitions (all i want is a bunch of dissolves)?
Has anyone become as frustrated as I am when the manual’s suggestions don’t work?
Is there anybody out there?
