  Switch from stereo to 5.1 audio after importing media in a stereo project

  <div>I did something really dumb, imported a wedding video into a project in stereo, did all the editing work to get to the end and realize all my audio is in stereo and not 5.1. Original video / audio was shot in 5.1 and when I match media settings I get my standard 4 audio tracks for the 5.1.

  Does anyone know how to convert a project from stereo to 5.1 so it recognizes the original surround sound?
