Switch from PAL to NTSC in Europe for compatibility Osmo+ and action cam?
For a webfilm I’ll be filming with a DJI Osmo+ in combination with an action camera ( Activeon CX ). I realised a little too late that the dji osmo in 1080p (25 fps) might give problems with the action cam (30fps).
Would this be a reason to switch to NTSC in FCP so I can shoot on 30fps with the osmo as well eventhough I’m based in Europe? Which means the film will be screened here as well, mostly or primarily even, on computers not tv.
I’m a little worried I’m missing something in the decision making from PAL to NTSC.

PAL/NTSC- is not the issue. The issue is matching frame rates. The Osmo 4K shoots- 1920 x 1080: 24p, 25p, 30p, 48p, 50p, 60p, 120p. So you should have no trouble matching another camera. 25p is useful only for broadcasting in PAL countries. If it’s destined for web use I suggest 24p.

It’s just that in order to choose 30fps I need to choose for NTSC with Osmo because it’s not an option in PAL. But if I’m correct you mean that NTCS/PAL in this case resulting from the choice for a frame rate is more a ‘side effect’ and not the most relevant?
The problem with 24p would be that most action cams don’t have this option. It’s often 30/60 etc.
But then 30fps in both cases (Osmo and Action cam) is the best option you reckon?
