    Good afternoon everyone.

The boss has asked me to come up with a new screen saver for the company. Have made a nice little animation in AE and the IT guy has asked for it as a SWF so he can convert it into a screen saver.

When I export my composition it is fine for about forty seconds and then the entire swf screen goes red, but loops at the 90 second point where I asked it to.

One thing worth mentioning is that I exported a MOV (animation codec) and then dropped that into a new comp and then exported that as an SWF to reduce the final size of the swf.

    Has anybody experienced this before?

    Cheers

    J

ok. i just figured something out that might help. i was exporting to the desktop but i changed it to a folder instead and was able to export from AE CS3 to swf. at its best level. so i heard that it could be because apple spotlight reads off the desktop before the file is finished exporting causing failure

I too have not been able to export my After Effects aep project to a swf file successfully. The AE project is 42 seconds long and the swf file runs fine for about 40 seconds but then blanks out with a red screen while the audio continues to play until the end. Is there anyone with some advice for me?

    Thank you,
