I have a project (with a master comp) with over 100 instances of the same (sub-)comp that needs to be replaced en masse. In Windows, is there some variation of the Alt+Shift method to swap multiple layers at once? Shouldn’t I be able to choose six comps from the Project pane and Alt+Shift drag into six highlighted comps in the Timeline?

One thought is to simply place the new comp inside the old comp and delete anything else in the old comp.

Now, you may be able to alt-drag comps from your project window onto highlighted ones in the timeline. I know you can do one at a time…
