Trying to do this project in AE and ran into another, “wonder if there is a shortcut or tool” question.

Is there a way to swap the contents of a layer with another in the project menu? For example, in Layer 1, I have image01 with a bunch of keyframes etc… Is there a way to just swap image01 with, say image02 in the project window? I just want to switch image assets but keep all the keyframes the same.. I know I can cut and paste but wondering if there is this command hidden somewhere.

    thanks.

[Dave LaRonde] “I don’t know how it’s done on a Windows box.”

Same way, only use alt instead of opt. Adobe is very good about keeping key commands the same (only sub ctrl for cmd and alt for opt).
