It didn’t get a lot of notice, but they compacted a lot of things in the inspector a little too. (smaller text field etc) Would be nice to optionally extend it though…

May 15, 2015 at 3:53 pmI’m not too happy about the smaller text window and I’ve contacted FCP X Feedback with the idea of adding a text entry HUD.
One thing I noticed which is a very small thing but it’s one of those things that add up – changing between list view and clip view in the browser maintains your selection. It did not do that in prior versions.

Agreed, I find myself doing more text entry/tweaking in the viewer now. I like the HUD idea. Actually a lot of stuff in X would benefit from being moved to HUD’s.
