suretarget(AE) and trapcode
Hello all,
I’ve got a problem that i need your help with. I’m going to explain it as clear as i can.
I have made a composition with a camera and about 13 text(3d layers). These layers are followed with suretarget. That’s working fine.
Now i want a nice 3d stroke under the 3d text. But when i make a new solid, make a line and then apply the 3d stroke, it doesn’t work.
i only see my written line.
I’ve tried the following:
– use comp camera
– use a preset
– create a new solidnothing works. How can i apply the 3d stroke to my camera so i can see the created stroke and how do i make it move with my suretarget presets.

Have you tried to make the solid, and use the 3D Stroke from Trapcode, with a mask, and then change the start/end over time to follow the movement with the camera?
I don’t have AE in front of me right now, but that is how I did it to make the effect work a while back.. if I am understanding what you’re asking.
