Duh. I have a 24f project and I am sending a copy to an audio guy and he wants visual TC starting picture at zero. Everything about the show is 24f but I can only get 30f TC from the Effects bin. Naughty, naughty. The timeline is 24f but the visual won’t match. Panic is lurking around the corner. The angel of death is near. Help!

Set the time display of the effect to 24fps. The effect always defaults to 30.

Thanks for your response. It is the entire 10 minute show that I was trying to place a 24f timecode on since everything in the show is 24f. I was placing timecode by putting a 0 opacity title track over the picture and dragging matrox timecode onto that track but don’t know where to tell it to be 24f or 23.98f. I’m just here in my sandbox feeling dumb.

If you need to change effect/plugin settings you need to select the clip that has the effect and select the “effect controls”-tab in the source window. The applied effects should be after the basic motion, opacity and time remapping in the list.
