Super Slow Media Export (8-10 hr Export time on 3 min vid??)
Hey Ive recently exported music videos and the export times have been outrageous. I know the effect add on time but I dont even do that much for it to be so long. Just a lil strobe here and there, curves and tints. Rendering h264 at maximum rendering quality. I also try to lower the bit rate to make it smaller but still taking years to export. Help pls because I dont want to have to export over night while im sleeping everytime.

Do you have any scaling going on in your project? If not then you shouldn’t enable the max render quality tab.

What are your computer specs? GPU-acceleration enabled? Source footage type? Exporting to? There are many variables affecting export speeds, but it typically shouldn’t take more than a few minutes unless you have really out of date hardware or something. Using any third-party effects? I know personally for instance that Red Giant DeNoiser II takes forever…love the results though!
