Sunlight FX
I re-shot a film in October, shot next to a field in Manhattan, NYC.
The shadows of the sun change throughout the day and as I edit the film, lighting becomes the biggest issue with this re-shoot. Even the varied construction noises aren’t as big an issue.
During the shoot day, the shadows on the field changed but I’ll accept that. The biggest issue is that shooting continued until it started turning to mild dusk.
I am trying to come up with creative ways (like a surrealistic sequence where it’s hard to know how much time is passing), to show the passage of time that would explain why there is such a contrast of lighting towards the end of the film. I am also using the simple Brightness and Contrast FX.
Are there any actual Sunlight FX available with Sony Vegas? I know there is at least 1 other fx where you can sort of give a sunlight FX but I don’t know well how to use it, but I’m wondering if there is an actual Sunlight FX.
Thank You
