Suggestions on portable audio recorder?
Hello,
I am going to be doing some freelance radio news reporting for a small community station. I am wanting to purchase a handheld audio recorder and was looking for some suggestions on what to consider. I have used Zoom recorders before but wanted to also get recommendations on which models would be best and what other brands are worth considering. It would be used mainly for interviews, story voice overs, and the occasional soundbite.

Recording audio without metering and monitoring is exactly like framing and focusing without looking at the viewfinder.
