  Suggestions for transition from Media 100i to AVID Xpress Pro?

  Hi,

  We have purchased AVID Xpress Pro w/Mojo (PC) for our studio. We have worked on Media 100i for many years — and have stayed with v7.5 on OS9 rather than upgrade.

  I did not anticipate the AVID learning curve I have experienced. I can’t seem to wrap my mind around the interface, timeline navigation — the basics, and I keep going back to Media 100i for “just this project . . . ” I really must master the AVID Xpress.

  Jon Zanone gave me some great training resource suggestions on the Calf – AVID basics forum, and I am also interested in the experience of others who’ve made the transition.
