    Suggestions for archival drives?

    I have 500GB external Sata drives for my media for current projects, but I was thinking I might want to archive certain projects on slower (inexpensive) drives to make it easy to reinstall projects in the future.

    Does this make sense?

    Any suggestions for hard drives for storage?

    I’m a big fan of Weibetech or Granite Digital enclosed drives. You can buy the enclosures from either of the companies and add your own drives to it. Best drives out there are probably Hitachi or Segate drives with 8 mb cache specs.
