suddenly unable to open Vegas Movie Studio
hi there,
I purchased Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11, registered it, and have been using it for a few weeks with no problems. It has suddenly just stopped working. There have been no new programs installed, nor have any changes been made to the computer… and all other programs are functioning normally (including Sony DVD Architect which came with Vegas)
When I click on the icon to launch the program now, it displays the circular “in-progress” wheel for about one second, then there’s no response. No splash screen, no error message, nothin’. No response at all. What can I do??
I’ve searched through Sony’s own support “knowledgebase” and forums
(https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/support), and tried all the relevant suggestions, but nothing has worked.Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any Ideas?

Sounds like classic file corruption issue. Reinstall, takes 5 minutes.
