    Hi all,

I have to translate a video interview for about an hour and add subtitles along the way.

How can I do that smoothly in FCE 2.0.3? I would like something similair to the subtitle function with a bar that iMovie has.

Can I do that with this version of FCE and how? Or do I have to upgrade to FCE HD and use Live Type? However, I do not need to animate the text.

    Thanks a lot!

There is subtitle tool as such. LiveType will not help you.

Create a template or two for the subtitle using Title 3D or Outline Text and park it in the Browser. Whenever you want to use it drag it Superimpose. Open the one that’s in the Timeline and change the words.

    All the best,

    Tom
