    Subtitle position for cellphone viewing

    I have a question about subtitling for videos produced to be seen on
    cellphones. Should subtitles when burned in still be placed in the text
    safe area? Are their guidelines for this?

    There is no spec for delivery to phones as different phones may behave differently. Generally Web based content doesn’t suffer from cut off but to be safe I’d stick to 90% width and height to contain titles.

    Thanks. 90% width and height I believe is the action safe area, is it not?
