Subtile Timecode Overlap ignored?
hello there ^_^
Well, my DVD project is almost complete (im working on adobe encore dvd 2.0)
Theres only one thing left to solve…
When I try to import subtitles a message appears saying that I have Timecode overlaps found in them…
The thing is I really need them to appear that way but I dont know how….
How can I manage to include my subtitles? I’ve seen Avi2DVD, Ulead Workshop (to mention a few) that ignore this overlap thing!!… But I rather use Encore.
Please Help!!
P.S. Would it work if I Make my DVD Folder and then include the subtitle (although i dont know where to put it or what format should i use…)

Only one sub-picture track can be active at any given time AFAIK. Most likely the other programs simply convert the text differntly and split it up into even more subpictures to accomodate such overlaps. You would have to do the same – where text overlaps, create a subpicture to accomodate everything. Other programs such as Scenarits also allow TC based switching between different subpicture tracks, but it requires parameter programming which is not available in Encore.

Sure. Just import your pre-formatted lists or type it in directly. It’s all explained in the help.
