Hello guys looking for a solid answer to a liquid question. How would I create a submarine bursting out
from underwater in C4D. I have already created the sub but it seems that the ability to create realistic
ocean splash is driving me crazy. I have also created the ocean with a plane and some textures. Im relatively new to C4D and Im also using Zbrush to model. Im trying to create an arial view of this as well. Is there a way to simulate a very specific liquid splash natively in C4D with Mograph?

    Thanks

I’m brand new to the world of Cinema 4d, but I do recall seeing a tutorial somewhere (Lynda.com, I believe) that created a splash with particles and a metaball object.
As I recall, it suggests you get a decent-looking splash movement with your particles. Use spheres for your particles. Parent the emitter to the metaball object and tweak the settings (raise the hull value and lower the subdivisions). The metaball will look very different in the render than it does in the editor window so check it in a render.

Thanks… I’ll look for the tutorial and give it a try!
