  • Subclips keep frame size of proxy files.

Been on an out of state shoot, and sending los-res proxies back to the studio for organization. I’m trying to replace the low-res proxies with the camera footage now. The editor had been making sublclips, and now I’m replacing the proxies with the camera files. I’ve noticed that the subclips maintain the smaller frame size of the proxy files. I’m imagining that the only thing to do is edit with the subclips on a 1080P timeline, and Set to Frame Size, every subclip?

You can edit with the subclips on a timeline that matches them. Replace the clips then change the settings of the sequence.

Or better yet, make the subclips offline then re-link to the new clips. The size will change but the name will stay the same.
