Subclips edit and saving the Proyect with Proyect Manager
Hi. This is my first post in this forum, although i´ve been following it for a long time, so i want first to say hello to all the members. Please excuse me if my english is not too good, but my lenguage is spanish (Spain) and don´t practise my english too much.
I´m using Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a PC.
I´ve edited a proyect using subclips from 2 large original clips. Everything ok, but when i export it with the proyect manager to save the whole proyect and its media in other new folder, premiere copys the original clips as many times as subclips i have in the proyect pannel. So, if i have one original clip of 1,2 gb from which i´ve made 20 subclips, premiere copys in the new folder 1,2 gb for each subclip i made from him, it means that is copying the original clip as many times as subclips i have made from it.
In the proyect manager pannel i select Compile and Copy all the media in new folder. It says that the estimated size of the new folder will be 1,4 gb, but the real size of it is about 24 gb!!!
If i select the other option, Trim al media and copy to new folder, the estimated size is 24 gb, and the results are the same. 🙁Any idea? Is it a bug or i´m doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance!
