When sub-clipping from a sequence already strung out on the timeline, is there anyway to subclip into a clip instead of forming a new sequence? I have interview footage that will take forever to subclip in the viewer window, it’s 100x easier doing it from the timeline, but I don’t want the editor to have to drag the sub-clipped items into the window every time he wants to view one.

    thank you all,
    Brendan

Forgive me if you’ve already thought of this, but couldn’t you get the same effect of a subclip, if you put locators on the in and out points of the desired clip?

They didn’t ruin it.”They just surrounded it with something wonderful. Like a raison covered in chocolate! Or a monkey in a cowboy suit!”

You can subsequence from the timeline. After that, just select the subsequences in the bin and hit Bin-AutoSync. This only works if the subsequences have no edits inside them.

Yeah….i tried making subclips from timeline and audio was of shorter duration than video and subclip came till the length of the audio…. is there any other way for making subclips apart from marking audio and video in the same bin and then sync….?
