Subclip Advice
Hi,
Looking for some help on shortening HD footage.I have some rather large HD files that I have made into relevant subclips.Pardon my ignorance but does making a file a subclip and removing the original from the project mean that you are using far less of a filesize in the project?
The HD files are slowing the whole process down somewhat and my aim is simply to use what I need.

I does not, this is simply a reference in your project files with in and out points.
