Sub-sequence settings – allow trim out of bounderies
There is new feature in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 for creating sub-sequence out of in and out points of sequence. I’ve done my whole project (week of work) using sub-sequences. However, I’ve just found out there is no chance to audio cross dissolve sub-sequences on the timeline since there is no overlapping. Or maybe it is but I didn’t figure out how to get rid of this restriction. It’s driving me because after hours of internet searching I didn’t come up with any solution how to crossfade the audio. If anybody’s been solving this before please let me know. I”m not really keen to re-do my whole project!

Are you saying nest sequences?
if so, enter the nest….trim the source in the nest….
then you will have handles to do the dissolve in the main…

True. But he’s asking about Sub Sequences. They act just like Nests but he’s used them as clips in a final timeline. So while you can open them up from the Project Bin if you extend the audio the instance in the final timeline will then adjust and leave gaps as in your video will try to adjust to fill it.
