    This is not my day.

I have a short piece in my timeline with 2 tracks of video and 2 tracks of audio.

Every time I add the sub sequence to my timeline, everything is nested. If I double click on the sub sequence it opens in my timeline just fine.

How do I make a sub sequence without it nesting when I add it to my source monitor?

i think that if you click the little icon in the timeline window that is shaped like a stacked layer, when you drag your sub sequence to the time line it will not be nested…but the layers might not be stacked the same way.

PERFECTO! Thank you Jerry. All is well and I shall outlive the project.

    My best.
