  Sub clip question

  Hi! I’m editing a short film shot on 16 mm with premiere pro CS3 . The audio track was recorded separatelyy and so I have to sinc up all the takes. When I sinc the audio and video tracks on the time line, I can link the the tracks together to form a clip on the timeline, but I don’t seem to be able to create and label a subclip that I can place back in a bin. Because there are so many takes I need to organise them before I edit. Can anyone advise?
