Style layers of .PSD file import not coming through
Last week you guys helped me with importing PSD files across tracks, and thanks for that, but now the styles(bevel, shadow, etc) are not coming through. What gives? Thanks, Johnny In Orlando

Hmmm… There are limitations on what comes through but Bevel and Shadow are not one of them as far as I know. When you save your PSD file make sure that you use Compatibility Mode in Photoshop. I just created some Text with Bevel and Drop Shadow in Photoshop CS6 and it came in fine into Vegas Pro 12.0 and looks great.

When you say you aren’t getting transference, what exactly isn’t coming across? Are you attempting to use an item as movement? A moving shadow?
Any chance of getting hold of that PSD? A screen grab of what you have pre-import and then post-import?

I made the layers smart objects and they came into Vegas with the styles. Thanks so much to Steve and others on this. You guys helped me out on this project with your quick responses to my needs. Johnny in orlando
