    Hi.

I’ve coded some 10 p25 videos from DVCPRO HD material, and they come out pretty stuttery.

So far I’ve used compessors standard presets.

    Anyone seen this?

Seems almost like the stutter is related to the GOP as it is pretty rhythmic

I’m testing the files on a dual 2ghz G5 with 6Hb ram and nVidia 6800 GT card, and a MacBoook Pro 2.16 with 2 Gb of RAM.

    Both running smoothly from 10.4.6

H.264 is a delivery codec, they say, so it doesn't work well inside FCP but it should look nice out of QT Player. bogiesan This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
