    Hi all,

I am importing DV footage and putting titles, and color changes on the footage and then exporting it. When I play the footage back in FCP it has a stuttery effect or slightly jittery effect. Is there a way to fix this?

Sorry if this question has been answered. I searched and couldn’t find the answer.

More details please. What format are your working with and what are your export settings. Sounds like a framerate or codec mismatch somewhere.

It is DV footage shot on a dv camera….as for export in motion it is D1 frame 720/486…..

DV is 720×480 whereas D1 is 720×486. That’s one difference between them.

Why are you not using the DV settings to output?

Does your field dominance match (lower field dominant for NTSC-DV)?

Is the frame rate identical (29.97) for the export?
