I’ve already searched thru the archives – besides, I’m not really interested in what was a top studio monitor 2 years ago – I’m interested in NOW.

Budget about $350/pair. Small workspace. Video editing environment. Prefer active.

Anyone care to chime in on this? Thanks.

There are a lot of good studio monitors available for around $350 a pair. Your best bet would be to go to a music store like a guitar center or sam ash and have a listen to all the different models in that price range and pick the ones you like. M-Audio XB-5’s are a devent small powered set up as are the event systems.

I use TAPCO S5s in two of my edit suites. They’re $350 a pair at Sam Ash. I’ve also got the S8s in one of my suites. They sound great but they take up more space and they’re $500 a pair.
