    Hi,
I am getting frozen frames-studdering whenever I use the crossfade feature when combining two slow motion clips (set at 40%) these are 60p clips being slowed down on a 24P timeline. I have tried different velocity speeds with no luck, though if I don’t slow them down, they work fine.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Carl

Is this just during preview on the timeline or does it stutter after you render? Sometimes preview will stutter during transitions because it has to blend both slow-mo fx together in real-time and it can’t keep up the frame rate.

    John,
Yes, it sometimes happens when I render too. I have a killer editing setup, so I can’t believe its my computer. Though I forgot to mention I am editing AVCCAM files directly, could that be the issue?

Yea, Panasonic and Sony don’t get along too well so it is quite possible that this could be contributing to the problem. I don’t use AVCCAM so I can’t say. Maybe someone else can comment from experience.
