stuck on this text effect.
Hi, I’m a bit stuck on this text effect, does anyone have any suggestions?
The text is in the forground and the backround images show through the text as a negative, eboman uses it here on his logo (bottom left)
I’ve tried using Shatter to creat the 3d effect on my text, that works fine but I can’t find a way to bring the negative image through.

Does anyone know of a way to do this in conjunction with shatter? How about using a whole seperate negative layer on it’s own for the shatter effect?
Also, how can I get my text to spin like that without the negative spinning also.I’m a bit rusty as I havn’t used AE for a month or so, sorry if these are newbish questions.
