  • Stroking Shape Layers individually then merging

    Hello folks,

Is there any way I can take two shape layers, which are animated individually, but have any modifiers (i.e. strokes) merge as they cross?

For example, a bit of text which is all spread out ‘ T—E—X—T’ each letter has a stroke. then as they come together ‘TEXT’ the stroke layers (let’s assume I’ll use a number of strokes) merge to outline the word?

    Cheers

    Moog

    Hi Dave,

I couldn’t get it to work that way either and thought it might be easier with shape objects. But if thers a way round with text layers and masked solids etc… I could make that work.

    Got any tips?
