  strobe in DVD going from 1080i50 to NTSC SD

  I am working with a DVCpro Final Cut Pro project shot in Europe at 1080i50. I need to make a few NTSC DVDs to send to the client. My attempts so far to make the DVD using compressor and DVD Studio Pro 4 has resulted in a terrible strobe. Any suggestions?
