stretched picture
Can somebody tell me how I can get my videos to not be stretched wider than they should be on the TV? The people look wider than they really are. My camera is a Canon GL2, the project template is NTSC DV 720×480 at 29.9 fps. I think I want a 4:3 aspect ratio but I’m not sure. The only choice seems to be 720×480. Thanks

Are your project properties identical to your footage properties?

Is your TV set to stretch 4:3 to 16:9? It could be the TV settings and not the render settings.
