    hey!

i got a question! is there a way to get a streaming ink-effect, a bit like this one:

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=4Y2JfC2zxrM

but mine is streaming on a ‘flat surface’ (so it’s not dripping from the wall or so)

i know this example is probably just shot with a real camera (it looks like that), but the problem is that i really need to have control over the stream, since it has to go in particular directions. the write-on effect wasn’t working quite right, since it can only do 50 pixels (or so) and my ‘stream’ is a lot wider than that (it’s actually designed in illustrator)… so, anyone who can help me?

    thanks!

Well, you could try to roll your own with a stroke effect, maybe a turbulent displace and some other detailing effects. Or you could try using CC Glue Gun, which is similar to write on only it has a naturally liquified look to it and you can animate properties to make the stream wiggle.
