stream problem with new hdv
hello, i just stepped up to hdv with a jvc hd110u and a jvc brhd50 deck. just went out and shot all day at 720p/30.
when i try to capture, it captures just fine until the scene changes, at that point fcp stops capturing and gives me a “stream problem error.” it says there may be a problem with my tape. i’m using the hdv 720p30 setting in easy set up.i switched to the apple intermediate codec and it captured the footage, but it put it into about 80 individual clips of just a few seconds each. what am i doing wrong.
system info.
fcp 5.1.4 universal on a 17 inch mac book pro 2.16 ghz intel core duo with 1gb ram.
