    Strange things happening with Live Type

    I posted this in the Live Type forum and didn’t get the issue resolved so I thought I would try here.

    We have 3 Final Cut Studio systems set up here all with Live Type 2.0.2.
    I transferred a project from my system to another editors system and all the live type files were missing the effect that I had put on them,

    I had used the Chalk Line under Collectors Edition and his system has the effect showing up in effects as well, but the effect was not on any of my files.

    I tried opening some of the files on the third system and they were fine, we only had this problem on that one system, and to my knowledge this is the only time it has happened.

    Anyone know what may have caused this anomaly.

    Apple says “round-tripping” from LiveType and other apps is fixed in version 5.1.1. If you haven’t crossgraded that could be a source of your issues.

    No we haven’t yet and that won’t happen for at least 2 months.

    Thanks for the info and I’ll see what I can do about crossgrading sooner.
