I am having a very strange issue with ProresHQ footage sometimes rendering with a colored block. It even appears that way on my timeline while editing. No clue what may be causing this.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled PP and I have altered all of my playback, cache, and render settings. For some reason Premiere pro is just reading the pro res codec like this. Please help!

Check for updates on your graphics card and any plug-ins you may be using. That solved it for us.

Graphics cards are up to date, but that or any plugins should not be affecting the footage as I have turned off hardware acceleration and there are no plugins or effects being used on the footage.
Simply dragged the clip onto the timeline and it did this.
