Hi. I’m keying a subject in final cut filmed on green screen using dvMatte Blast from dv garage. It’s the best key I’ve seen yet for my dv footage and it works well with my subjects hair. The only thing is, it’s causing this weird purple color to appear in the highlights. Does anyone know what this might be? I don’t even know where the purple is coming from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info let me know….

I’m not familiar with that program, but it sounds like it might be coming from an over-cranked spill supression setting.

I’ve been toying with this, and I believe you’re absolutely right. Thanks for your input!
