Strange problem copying and pasting tracks in between two vegas files
This is really weird–
When I drop an MP4 into my Vegas timeline it adds a bunch of contrast to the file. This only happens in certain Vegas files. If I open up a new one and drop the exact same clip in, it looks completely different. There are no effects on any of the clips. Why is this happening!?!!?I’m using Vegas Pro 9.0 build e

Check to make sure you don’t have an FX in either the track header or the Preview window.

There are no FX anywhere. If I preview the file in the explorer it looks normal, but then when I drag it down onto the timeline it has significantly higher contrast– even if I put the file on a brand new video track. I seriously can’t figure this out.

Does it happen with formats other than mp4?

I’ve noticed it with .avi’s at least twice. I’ve realized that when I render the files they are back to normal so its just an issue in the timeline.
