    Hi,

I need some help. Here is the link of the video file
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgGdPzDYkaU

Does anyone know the name of the lines in the background? I made different comps, each with it’s layers pushed back about 1 pixel, to create a 3D effect. I rendered out the main comp, and it rendered with those lines. I also did a full render without the 3D effect(all layers turned off except for one) and it looked fine. Again, does anyone know why it’s doing that?

    Thanks!

Do you mean the lines from the shadows and motion blur?

Looks like banding in the shadows. Try uping your Shadow Map Resolution in the Composition Settings > Advanced Tab > Options button.

And if you’re working in 8 bit, try switching to 16 or 32.
