  Strange Error Message – “Incorrect number of “

  Hello all,

  One of my editors is getting this error when attempting playback for some clips in a sequence. Later clips in the sequence work fine.

  We can successfully scrub through the sequence and all master clips are online and play. I haven’t seen this one before.

  It’s definitely a project related issue as it happens on multiple machines. We trashed media databases and settings files with no success. Our temporary workaround is to go back to the previous version of the timeline, but I’d love to find the root cause for this.

  Error message reads:

  Incorrect number of .
  Num of Them:
  Should Be:

  

  System is quad core Mac Pro 2×2.4 Ghz
  24 GB Ram
  OS 10.6.5
  Avid MC 5.0.3.9
