storage solution for a 4:4:4 project

is the 4Gb apple fibre card working for you? or do you find the atto celerity a more stable solution?
have you found a drive solution that works best? huge? rorke?

I have had much less problems with the atto card, but then the Apple card is 1/4 the price.
I have had personal issues with both at times, I have had rock solid success only with fibre solutions. My personal choice at this time would be the GSpeed XL.

is the 4Gb apple fibre card working for you?”I’m deciding between a Ciprico and Facilis Storage solution right now. Both can perform 4:4:4 and I’m pretty sure they both recommend ATTO as the card of choice.

May 12, 2007 at 7:05 amI’ve got the ATTO pci-e coupled via 4gb fibre to the Ciprico 4210, my speed disk test indicates it can easily handle 4:4:4
when I was looking to buy an array last year I told my sales rep that 4:4:4 dual-link SDI capability was a must, he advised the above configuration (over a year ago)
