Stop Audio Preview at current time
Posted by Dan Fredley on November 10, 2011 at 9:21 pmIs there any way to stop an audio preview at the current time instead of jumping back to the start time? This has always annoyed me.

November 11, 2011 at 6:34 amNot that I know of BUT if you switch on the From Current Time switch in the Preview Panel, anytime you stop an Audio RAM Preview, the CTI will move back to where you were when you initiated the Audio RAM Preview.

November 12, 2011 at 3:15 amYou may know these tips, but if you don’t they could be helpful. Pressing the * key on the numeric keypad while audio previewing will add a marker on the fly. Dragging while holding the Cmd or Ctrl key will scrub audio, and the playhead stays wherever you stop dragging.
