Stock footage for Extreme Sports
Hi all. I’m looking for some HD Extreme Sports footage to cut into a corporate sales event. I’ve found a couple of libraries that are options but wondered if anyone here knew of a good source. I can go with SD but I’m looking for an unlimited use license and HD would be a better investment if the shots are good. I’ll be editing in Final Cut Pro in either 720p, or 480i if I have to go Standard Def. Thanks for any input.

What about very beautiful ariel shots? Mountains, rivers, forests and meadows, anyone know a good spot and pricing for these images?
Just wondering if it’s easier to stock footage them then to rent a plane and film it myself.Will Keir

Hey no problem at all Will. BTW are there specific regions of the US that you are interested in or just nature shots in general? I’m planning on developing my own stock footage site later this year. I’ve got 12 years of footage from 22 countries on the shelves to go thru. 🙂

yeah Randy, I’m looking specificaly for Northern California landscapes, especially shots with smooth granit river beds and emerald green pools.

Here’s a tip: You can find aerials over Italian mountains, countryside and rivers HDCAM, XDCAM and soon XAVC Standard.
