Stock Floodlight/Spotlight for FCP
Posted by Elijah Lynn on June 16, 2009 at 7:35 pmIs there a stock filter to add a spotlight to a clip? I used one in Premiere Pro a year ago and was looking for one similar.
Thanks

June 16, 2009 at 8:36 pmI have used multiple clips on top of each other and added Garbage Mattes, Image Mask, Mask Shapes and Soft Edges, but since I became more involved with using color it has made it so much more realistic (and believable) as long as the prep work is done correctly prior to sending to color.
Check out this Richard Harrington Tutorial on Vignettes and tracking them.

good luck

June 16, 2009 at 10:50 pmCGM has one called Spotlight 3D in CGM DVE FX and Noise Industries has one in NI Stylize. I don’t know if you can get these plugs individually. They’re each probably part of a package of FX. I think Victor’s ideas is a good one.
