Many of my still files (mostly Jpegs) are showing up in the Motion Browser grouped into image sequences instead of individual files. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Sounds like you have your collapse into image sequence button on.
Toggle it off, its on the right of the bottom of the file browser window next to the new folder icon

That did it, although I don’t understand why some images displayed as a single image and others were randomly grouped as sequences. Thanks Peter. You know, Hillary Clinton once said (probably the only true thing she ever said), “It Takes a Village.” Well. this is my village. I couldn’t survive without the Cow.

    No problem!

The fact that some were grouped was probably because of the filename being the same, but a number changing.

    eg

    peter1.jpg peter2.jpg etc = possible image sequence

Or the way most digital camera’s number photos. DSC_0004.jpg, DSC_0005.jpg It’ll read those as an image sequence.
