Still Images not rendering
Hello,
I just want to know if someone is facing the same problem.
Macpro quad 2.66
Decklink HD extreme
FCS2 upto date
working at 1080i50 in ProResthe problem is some still images are not apearing on the renders.
Everything it’s ok in previews, when you scrub on the timeline, manipulate, etc…but whe you do a “render all” and “master to tape” some images.. just disappear.
If you do a “render all” and then export a Quicktime Movie with current settings
the resulting movie has also the same problem..
any ideas?

this happened to me the other day as well.
If you have your image above a video track then lower the opacity of the video track or cut it out
often times for b roll i just stick some images over my main video track, that is, until my pictures wouldn’t render ect…
see if it works for you.
the other thing that worked was lowering the resolution of the image in photoshop.

Finally!.. I’m not alone in this world suffering this “old-time-like” weird behaviors!
I will go this afternoon to the Production Company.. and check all the situations where it happens. (Is not my own FCP, I’m hired there as a freelance editor)
It happens to you in ProRes also? or have U find the same problem working with other codecs?
